    Hi all,

We’re taking out camper van down to Bourgogne for the bank holiday, we normally do a lot of rock climbing (probably going to stay in Nolay).

However, the weather is looking a bit touch and go at the moment. Any suggestions on what to do in the area that isn’t rock climbing?

We’re both active rather than liking to go to wineries etc. We do like a good castle and anything WW2 related tho… Any thing inbetween Calais and Dijon is in the frame….

    Thanks!

you do do a lot worse than spend some time in Troyes, although you’ll be much more architecturally than WW2 occupied

Stayed in Semur-en-Auxois a few years back – lovely place for a mooch and not too far out of the way by the look of it

Cool thanks guys – we’ve done the cathedral in Troyes before – is there much else to see there?

was a nice play to spend the day wandering around; lucked out with an outdoor art festival thing being on which meant loads to see, old buildings opened up etc
