Findus crispy pancakes, and the subsequent pain when biting into a thermonuclear cheese and ham sauce.
Also space raiders, chipsticks and those funky pots of breadsticks with chocolate sauce in one side.

Can I take this opportunity to thank the OP for bringing the deliciousness of cabbage water to my attention. I get very excited about this now. Broccoli, spring greens, cavalo nero, kale, savoy – all produce yummy tasty steam water!

I remember before they invented tetrapaks when orange juice was sold in cans as a frozen concentrate that you had to dilute.
Given that most carton orange juice is made from concentrate anyway, I can’t see why it is an advance.

What I’d give to taste the flavour of Cresta again.

    Roast stuffed hearts.
Liver and bacon with fried onions.
    Creme caramel
Cods roe on toast with vinegar.
    Toast toppers
    Prawn Primula (tres posh)
    Semolina.
Dripping and salt on soft white bread.
    Curry flavour crisps
Been re visiting a few of these, but Cresta that was soooo nice.

I remember before tetra pak when orange juice came in glass bottles, the poor kids had to make do with frozen cans of concentrate.

Actually I don’t as they came out in the 50s but we never bought frozen stuff.

In the USA the frozen fruit juice concentrate is still the default.

I did cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks shoved in a half potato covered in foil for my 4 year old’s party the other week. The kids LOVED them.

We used to eat peanut butter and syrup sandwiches.
White bread, lathered with Country Life, crunchy peanut butter on one half, golden syrup on the other. Fold in half. Nosh.

Angel Delight for pud? – to make it really posh add a dollup of the finest cream substitute available from your local Keymarkets

    Dream Topping!
