  • Fitted jersey with no rear pockets?

I like the fit of cycling jerseys, but never carry anything in the rear pockets – I wear a hip pack, so all they’re doing is making my back sweatier.

A lot of the MTB tops I see are quite baggy.

Can anyone recommend a decent non-flappy jersey that doesn’t have pockets?

long or short sleeve? If short sleeve I had a mavic xa which was nice, does have a small zipped pocket on the side for valuables, bu no rear pockets. Not skin tight, but not flappy either.

    I think decathlon do one.

Short sleeve if possible. Doesn’t have to be full zip.

Mavic one looks decent. Must feel a bit weird if you use the side pocket!

Just looked, the ST100, and it’s only £8!

That is cheap. 🙂 Think I need a front zip of some kind though.

You’d struggle on the zip front but some base layers are ok for this. I’ve used them in short TTs and long hill climbs before I had a skin suit.

Tri tops might be worth a look as well. I think most will have pockets but they would be minimalist.

My bike handling skills are far too good to wear a tri top. 🙂

Or look for a track Jersey. They don’t have pockets.

    Jerseys designed for recumbents apparently.

Madison turbo jersey doesn’t have rear pockets, though will be pretty light and airy by virtue of what it is designed for.
