Puddleducks in Dunsop Bridge, the geographical centre of the UK. Owner Trevor bakes all the bread and cakes and the best scones in the universe.

Two new cafes on today’s route, Coldwell Park & Barden Mill. 😀

No cake shots available, even with ‘Safesearch’ off 🙁 .

Got a poorly shoulder so the scoffing/riding ratio has swung towards pastry.

    Will post a report later.

Off to the tea rooms in Wolverley in a while. Always welcome and staff are great. Good cakes too.

Paid another visit this weekend to the brilliant Polocini coffee shop (it’s *not* a caff, you get a clip round the ear if you call it that!) 🙂

Superb coffee & grub, very sensible prices, a really warm welcome, cycling on t’telly and it was heaving yesterday.

If you do a cheeky coast path ride on Gower then the cafe at Southgate does one of the best bacon sarnies about.

RiverView Cafe – great coffee, cakes and bacon butties.

It’s just off the Forest Way, in Sussex, so is suitable for a turnaround-point stopover on a Sunday lunchtime pootle.
Sometimes time our visits to coincide with the 2nd Sunday of the month, to catch the classic car meeting.
Went over today, and found that they’ve started doing Classic Motorbike meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

A sprint over the levels to the run-down cafe under brean down, at brean sands. Toasties and coffee. Then the struggle back over The Mendip to home.
