Got an EJ flight out from Manchester with  my bike soon, it’s an early flight so 4am check-in, I see you can drop bags off night before to make life a bit easier, but there’s no mention of sports equipment, given that it goes through a different process than hold baggage, can I still use it for my bike?

    Any experiences out there?

It’ll go through over-sized baggage which is right next to the Easyjet check in. It still gets checked in by Easyjet at their desk, you just take it round afterwards.

I can’t see that there’ll be a problem, just read the T&Cs carefully for the twilight drop off to make sure that oversized luggage isn’t excluded.

I phoned them about this in Edinburgh and they said it would be OK.
You’d need to ask about Manchester specifically I’d have thought.

I’m pretty sure that the oversized baggage check in is open for as long as check-ins are open.

Makes sense that it remains open with standard checkin or oversized is used for all sorts of stuff including floppy / strappy bags that will foul the belts
