Theres lots of GPX route files out there to download. My question is can I download these files to memorymap so that they appear as a route on a 1/25000 map that I can print and take with me as a backup in case the GPS goes tits up.
I have downloaded some routes tagged mmo. that have appeared on memorymap without me doing anything but the files tagged gpx I cant do anything with am I restricted to just using them on my GPS.
Any answers appreciated but just pretend I am stupid and please use small words and no nerdspeak
Download gpx file to your computer
Open memory map
On Overlay menu choose import
Change 'files of type' to GPS Exchange Files (gpx)
Find gpx file previously downloaded
Click open
