flying from grate-wick to geneva and then on up to join the ride the alps boys and girls for a week of alpine singletrack.... how happy am I? a week of riding, chillin, drinking the odd beer and not having to get up at stoopid o clock for work.

Top tip- dont crash on the "10%" on Pleney, stay clipped in and break your knee. It wont enhance your holiday :-/

One of my mates broke his elbow on the 10%'er a few years back,went straight over the top of the right hand berm at the bottom. 🙁
Make sure you pipe lag your frame, remove discs, undo calipers and bubblewrap, fix sturdy plastic where your hubs rub up against your wheelbags. Put a a few layers of cardboard in your bag too.
The baggage people stack dozens of heavy bags on your bike when they unload. I had two different frames damaged on consecutive years. Insurance didn't cover it and that really smarts!
