Currently riding a 130mm frame and fork at 12kg but I realise I’m riding it mostly in climb/ hard setting on the back except for rough descents. Most of my riding is XC (racing)/trail with the occasional urge to send myself off some drops and jumps. Lately I’ve done a few big MTB events (+60-80km) and enjoyed them and placed quite well. I also ride road. As such, I’m thinking of building my parts onto a hardtail frame that would save some weight on my current build.

Is there a hardtail frame out there that comes in around 1-1.5kg, boost through axle, head angle around 67-68? BB would be press fit as I want to just buy a frame.

Thanks in advance for your input. I guess I’m looking at a hardtail that can handle everything but still light enough to race. If I had the money I’d have a full sus, HT and a gravel bike to compliment my road bike 😝👍

29er? If so, new Santa Cruz carbon chameleon might fit the bill (apart from the press for BB bit)
