I’ve got to re-grout the bathroom floor soon so will need to remove the existing grout. What’s the best tool that is least likely to damage the tiles? A dremel with the grout tool or an oscillating multi tool?

    Thanks!

You’ll be there forever with a Drexel. Multi tool with a Bosch grout blade, don’t buy a cheaper blade it will be rubbish. Anything that removes the grout at a reasonable rate will also eat tiles. It will be very very dusty.

Just had to do this as previous owners hadn’t used waterproof grout.
Used a multi tool with degrouter attachment. Ryobi I think. Did the job quickly and effortlessly. Didn’t break or mark any of the tiles so was pretty pleased!

Thought the dremel would be painful.

Mrwhyte, do you have a link please?

    Thanks.
