The strap on my Timex Expedition watch has snapped so I’m considering an upgrade.

I specifically want a watch that has vibrate alarm and now, since the strap on my last watch broke, am after a watch with a silicone strap.

Navigating the array of Casio model numbers is confusing but I’ve found one watch so far that meets my needs, the W-735H-1AVEF.

Are there any others? My budget can stretch to £70.

I bought it because I need a countdown timer and a vibration alarm to time games / substitutions when I was coaching kids football.

Does the job perfectly and no complaints. Perfectly adequate.

Only £23 too. I’m trying to get as many functions for my budget whilst fulfilling the essential criteria. If there’s no other options thrown into the hat then that’s the one I’ll get.

Second hand Garmin Forerunner 35

GD-350-1BER is a G-Shock option with negative display, around £65 on Amazon with a voucher offer at the moment. But if you don’t need a G the W-735H-1AVEF looks fine.
