Maybe I’m missing some of the point. But when organisations start sticking BLM stuff on as just another logo it feels like it’s jumped the shark.
I you’re an organisation then surely the buck stops with you (within your sphere of influence anyway). If Commencal are serious about it, then actually do something visible about it.
Like football teams protesting before kick off. No, go and elect/promote/hire more diverse people into the management and boardrooms. Kneeling has just become the new clapping in the politburo.
Sticking a logo on something to ‘show suppourt’ is implicitly just saying ‘but what can I do’? And the answer is something. People protest to get organisations to change, not to change the logo* on their products.
