Hated my 2016 version, but that new one looks better to be fair.

What was it you hated ? Was it harsh ?

That version was very harsh, tall and short. I felt like it was riding a bike on top of another bike if that makes sense?

Thing is, this newer version is totally different by the looks of it, and I’ve already stated before that I don’t like longer travel hard tails (maybe me setting them up wrong though).

I built mine up and sold it within weeks , very heavy cromo frame , harsh and just felt very very slow

I loved my 2015 26 flavour version. A tad harsh at the rear but good geo and the frame looked the dogs.

Really liked my 2017 with a comfy rear tyre. This is even better but surely a Sonder Transmitter is an even better / cheaper option.

Transmitter is on my radar but(quite irrational) the icsg Mount is putting me off 🙁

The meta is a smidge lighter and just looks sexier 🙂

I wouldn’t take much notice of any published weight difference, it might well be the opposite in reality. The tabs will be pretty much invisible when the cranks are fitted. But the Commençal does look good indeed although it’s a bit shorter.

Yup good point the Commencal being bit shorter. Decisions decisions !!
