    Hi,

Back in October I ordered one of these:

    https://www.orangebikes.co.uk/bikes/clockwork-evo-29-frame/2021

It was due in November but sounds like it will finally be with me this week. I have intended to build it up with parts from my old XTC, with a few changes. The build will be:

RockShox Pike’s 140mm (non boost) with charger 2 damper and luftkappe upgrade – bought used, not used yet
    OneUp v2 dropper – new
    Superstar headset

    From XTC
XT 1×11 groupset inc brakes (works ok but some wear)
    Saddle
    Generic stem
    Planet X Selcof carbon handlebars
DT Swiss XR391 rims on DT240 rear / 350 front hub (new last year – non boost)
Boost conversion kit for rear wheel
Schwalbe speedgrip nobby nic / rocket ron

I’ll use the bike on my local trails that are mainly woodland, some steep and fairly technical, but no jumps. My mate (who is much better than me) rides a Chameleon.

Any thoughts on the spec please? Anything you’d change? I think I’ll upgrade the stem once I’ve set up the bike and decided on the size, perhaps matching bars too?

Tyres might struggle in proper winter slop but should be fine for summer. I’ve just fitted a V2 oneup dropper, seems decent, first ride awaits. Post a picture when you’ve built it up. Sounds good!
