    Looking at a Giant Invite 2 2017 that’s currently as stock, barely used and a bit of a bargain.

    It’s got Tektro discs and 2×8 Claris.

    I’ve got spare 8sp shifter and v-brake flat bar levers, and spare flat bar.

    Am I daft to consider a flat bar conversion?

    Brake lever pull will Shirley be too far (proper levers cheap tho) and TT 3cm ISH shorter than the equivalent flat bar frame I think.

    Ok, so frame size may be an issue.
    Brake levers aren’t a problem to find different pulls.

    Thanks Josh, I think I’m ok at the moment (recykabike at the end of the office car park helps…).
    I’ve also got to pick the bike up yet…
