No idea with rigid forks.
Frame from bike-discount.de
If you build a 29 er:

189 Euros. You won’t get a better fork for 189 Euros…!!!
My experience with hardtail bike frames: even if they are designed for a 100 mm fork they take these 130 mm forks without problems. To make this work REALLY good (100 mm frame and 130 mm fork), in the case you are just in between two frame sizes: buy the bigger size.
Low cost boost front wheel: actionsports.de
custom wheel with DT 370 rims and 25 mm FunWorks rims … (was in winter time around 80 Euros)
All other components: bit more expensive than in winter time right now. O.k..
But if bike-discount.de still as 29 er frames in your size … great, great chance for you to soon bike a really neat 130 mm hardtail.
Built a couple bikes recently. One of those was such an hardtail. Low cost fun machine. Fantastic fork!
