Just installed a new Cane Creek DB IL from TF Tuned and went to adjust the rebound and noticed none of the dials make any difference. Climb switch doesn’t do anything either. I let all the air out the shock to make sure it fit the frame through the travel and cant work out if I’ve done something wrong. I had the same shock on my last bike so know how the dials work and how it should feel.

Any ideas before I have to send the shock back?

There shouldn’t be anything you can do to effectively switch off what the dials do. I’d have a guess that it’s dumped its gas charge, but a quick call to TF in the morning will have you sorted

Do you mean the nitrogen gas charge?

Its like the compression and rebound are stuck fully open and the climb switch isnt doing anything. It moves through its travel smoothly so guessing something was missed when it was built.

It says in the paperwork they set the shock up for my weight and bike and specified what oil was used so can’t imaging it’s missing. It’s a a rebuilt shock with mostly new parts. Was off an old bike, then serviced, set up for a new bike. Most the internals are new.
