Looking at this to fit my Ford Kuga(it’s a direct replacement according to vendor) I’m wanting usb connectivity/Bluetooth hands free/dab radio.

Guessing I’ll need dab aerial of sorts unless my 2009 kuga is dab capable ?

Anyone have first hand experience/knowledge of these units ? Reviews seem promising

Save your money, it may fit but the chances of it working completely as expected are less than favourable.

Go for a known make, like Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, etc, there’s a much greater chance of the interface working with a variety of different devices.

I bought a similar chinese head unit, it had several bugs and annoyances, and got extremely hot.

One issue was the fact it had no security, so anyone can turn it on and then all your passwords etc are synced on your google account so they can access forums, emails etc.

I ended up sending it back and getting a Sony XAV-AX100 which has proper Android Auto and is way better to use.

As above, go for a well known make.

    work more reliably.

ive had some lovely alpine head units in the past for not much more than that one, they sounded superb.

you’re probably gonna spend a fair bit of time listening to it, so it’s worth the money ime.
