    Yes, but at speed the vents will blow in plenty of air. Windows down at low speed. Air con was great driving across Australia but can people really not put up with being a bit warm?

    I was responding to a comment about opening the windows.

    And yes, I can put up with being a bit warm. I can also put up with cantilever brakes and toeclips. I don’t because modern alternatives are better.

    Then how come my 13 year old volvo (which I’ve owned since new) can still freeze the bollocks off a penguin?
