Does anyone know of a video capture card and web streaming software that will work with an old mac running El Capitan? My wife is using Zoom for work a lot at the mo and the camera on our old macbook is playing up, so I wanted to use one of the many cameras in our house to stream from, but when I look for first a capture card and then the software to run it, nothing appears to support the older OS’s. People were streaming 3-4 years ago, so what were they using? Are you doing this? what’s your setup?

Wouldn’t a USB webcam be the easiest solution?

Yes, but all the decent ones are expensive and not available, and I was hoping to use what I had in the house, bar the capture card obviously.

As I suspected, that will be a no then.
