[Closed] Can't rip a "DTS" format CD?

As above, copying a CD to my laptop to load to MP3 device, using Creative software, and it won't have it. It tells me it's unable to rip a DTS format. WTF is DTS?

in this case, I expect it's the surround sound type 🙂
filext is your friend! I find it extremely handy now and then...

digital theatre system?
you can get a rip of that by downloading "Audacity".
it enables you to get a pretty good rip of whatever your pc is playing through it's speaker.

CD is published in 1988, Ican't quite beleive it's that fancy. Give it a go.

Audio CDs aren't DTS format so it is probably your software getting confused it could be down to the CD having [url= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preemphasis ]emphasis[/url] this is unusual but older CDs sometimes used it - I have had problems with this a few times

Try using EAC to rip it.
