Slagging off is GOOD though if its specific.

The reason being is when your sales dip – you normally never know why they have. Its always good to know feedback- negative is always good in this instance as it tends to be more detailed.

This thread has actually made my mind up to buy a digital subscription. I buy every issue from a shop and end up with a big pile of paper for recycling. Seems a waste to me. I buy a lot of MBRs, too as I like the ride maps. Maybe ST should do some GPX type ones for digi subscribers?

I’ve got them all going back to Issue 1 – one of these days I’ll get around to chucking them in the recycling on classifieds.

I had to drive 125 miles to give away all my old issues (1-65) away!

The reason i cancelled my sub, has nothing to do with the excellent quality pictures and writing in the magazine, but more to do with the special offer i got of a young lady in a field at Catton Park last year, this is now going to double in price, if i want the same package, strangely i dont read the back issues on a computer,rarely read the premier bits etc, and i can pop down to smiths and buy a copy if something intrests me in the mag, then i usually give it away to a fellow poor cyclist.or just pop it into the recycling, from where its probably made into an argos catalogue.

Oh and there is a little thing called recession , currently hitting a lot of us workers, and meaning we have to save cash.

save your cash sponge from the P – what big society is all about.
i realise you cannot afford £15 pa so post up when you get a puncture and we will see what we can do to help you.

As JY said, and I have said before…I can take or leave the mag. Some issues I love, some I love less. It’s about keeping the lights on at this place. Well worth the money (which comes out once per year. Even I can budget for that)

I have no idea what you mean, but I wish, I wish, I had offers of a young lady, in a field, park, wherever, occasionally or even just once in my life.

I buy the mag, it would be rude not to really. Ok, it ebbs and flows like everything else in life but overall i enjoy it – plus it’s a slice of local life 🙂
