I have some Clarks originals with a Crepe sole. Upper fine, soles worn away. Has anyone ever resoled any? Is it a standard thing at Timpsons or somewhere similar?

Dunno about crepes (usually egg holds them together teehee) but i use contact adhesive on rubber soles and clamp it up for a few hours.

    Yes.

Timpsons have re-soled my desert boots twice now, the added bonus was that the second time the sole had some grip too rather than just flat. It stays sticky for a while and looks cleaner then blends in after a couple of weeks.

Timpsons can only resole shoes with separate heel and toe pieces.

If they’re one piece, I’d be asking Clark’s, they used to resole my fathers shoes all the time.
