Will the SRAM Fat4 work with the Dune?

BB Compatibility: GXP 100mm/PF GXP 121mm
    Chainline: 66.5mm

I didn’t check properly when I ordered but it says for a 170/177 rear where the Dune has 197. I’m sure I read on here about Raceface cranks fitting better for the 170/177 rear.

Am I destined to send them back?

I’ll check the current chainline when I get home.

    TIA

Did you manage to find anything out? I’ve been looking for a cheapish crank and BB for mine for ages but all the different sizes, specs etc blow my mind!

I can’t answer it I’m afraid but yep, the Dune is 197 which means 120mm is usually recommended, but me and most other folks in the Dune megathread fitted the 100mm/narrower Aefect fat with a flipped ring.

Fatbike crank widths are all over teh place though so you can’t assume that it’s the same for other brands or even for other Raceface cranks. But hopefully that gives you a point of comparison. I wouldn’t want to move the chainline much inwards.

After measuring my current chainline in fairly certain these cranks won’t work.

Nice bargain but I’ll be returning them unfortunately.
