Are brightly coloured lids acceptable for a podgy amateur or are they reserved for those blessed with skills?! I’m considering a dayglo giro… But wondering if I should stick to black?!

Seriously? I don’t think it matters. I wouldn’t associate a brightly coloured helmet with Awsum skillz & even if I did, wear what you want. Don’t worry about what other people think.

Go for it. My full face is eye searingly bright and I’m a bit crap.
