Top tip, the footage on http://www.cbc.ca (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is top notch.

One of the classic MOTD commentators (I don’t know their names) and they show every game, free, with replays of all the matches, highlights packages etc.

Better than any footage I’ve seen of previous tournaments, apart from the very ‘american’ half time show.

All the talk is whether Rooney should play in the next game and if so….where? I think he deserves a chance to play in his preferred position and if he fails again, then time to move on.

Müller should have been booked, and that incident aside, had a magnificent game. With no team to support, the Germans are my favourites so I was delighted with a 4-0. Pepe should know better than to make contact with another player’s head in any game, let alone a World Cup opener. Two arseholes at that incident, Pepe was the bigger of the two. I suspect that the result would have been the same had it stayed eleven aside anyway. Tbh, I’d rather be watching Zlatan than Ronaldo.
