    There was a bikerafting article in STW a year or two ago.

    Looked pretty scary for me balancing a bike with lots of sharp metal bits, across a lightweight single skin inflatable boat.

    If it bursts, even if you can swim to the shore, your bike is ending up at the bottom.

    Not if it’s a Fatbike. 😉

    In practice, it’s simple to keep any pointy bits off the raft.

    Surely a puncture would result in wild oscillating movements accompanied by a high pitched farting sound

    These are not comforting thoughts to a packrafter.   Did anyone see the straight line race across Man and the fate of the blow up duck?
