Does anyone know anywhere in the North East that hires out bikes boxes/bags that will take a downhill bike?

Dalby Bike Barn hire out EVOC bike bags for £35 a week but it’s a bit of a trek to go and get one to be honest. I can’t see anywhere closer.

Or failing that does anyone near Sunderland/Newcastle have an EVOC one I can borrow in return for beer tokens for a week at the end of July?

If you were in London I would be delighted to assist with an EVOC, alas I am of no help 😆

most leisure lakes offer the EVOC bags as well, I paid £50 for the whole time I used it which ended up being 3.5 weeks!

I wouldn’t bother Matt, they dont really offer any more protection than a cardboard box.. I’m off to NZ with the bike soon and opting for a cardboard box as they are light, easy to shape and easy to put whatever supports in you need… if youre worried about it getting wet then cover it in tape!
