    Mature cheddar, ham and Branston.

It’s the best sarnie ever and can only be beaten in sarnie top trumps by a larger mature cheddar, ham and Branston sarnie.

Cheese and pickle rarely fails, maybe with a slice of tomato if I’m feeling extra healthy.

I usually have an Omlette wi the previous nights leftovers for breakfast and if I have anything left I throw it in a fresh bap from the bakers for my lunch, some combinations are better than others but it’s certainly varied and interesting.

I love an omelette sandwich! Thought I was on my own – but no, there is another true believer!

Take the wet bits out of a couple of tomatoes, add 2 boiled eggs, chop up as finely as you can add loads of pepper and a pinch of salt. apply to bread and butter.

There are four, and they are:

    1. Mature cheese with some onion or other relish ie pickle or chutney.
    2. Tuna with mayonnaise and chopped pickled jalapenos.
    3. Pesto, grilled aubergine and goats cheese topped with salad leaves.
    4. B.E.S.T and Daddies sauce

    Crispy bacon, chicken mayo, cheese.
    Or
Bolognaise sauce with lots of parmesan
    Or
Strong cheddar, rocket and some lemon juice. The lemon works suspiciously well with the cheese.
    Or
    Mackerel fillet and tartar sauce
    Or
Bacon. Think, crispy, smokey bacon on buttered bread.
    Or
Steak with melted brie, fried onions and some grain mustard.
    Or
Hot roast beef with pork crackling.
    Edit.
Tariflette. Potatoes, sausage, maybe lardons, onions, loads of cheese, a touch of salad and some mustard dressing. Ideally left over from the night before so the cheese has melted in.

That’ll do for now, I’m too hungry to post much more.

Stilton and Ham, both elements need to be 1/4″ thick. White bread, crusty with plenty of butter. No accelerants required.

Fried egg and tattie scone with brown sauce on a crusty roll. Preferably purchased in the greasy spoon on-board the Isle of Mull ferry and served with a mild hangover.

    OR

Spicy Italian sausage, sautéed onions and wilted spinach on a nice herby focaccia.
