A mate of mine works on that estate, told me to pick him up there once and did a double-take as I drove in (he’s not a copper, works in one of the other units).

I once had a job-sheet for a Mr Gardener, that lived in a village outside Western-super-mare called Uphill..

It actually read : “Uphill, Gardener”.

We both chuckled. Nowadays we’d probably be imprisoned.

Used to be a street near us called on a new development on land owned by the WildGoose family called Wild Goose Chase, It had to be changed as residents complained that no one would believe that address. Now called Wild Goose Drive. booo!
