- Basic Technical T shirt for commuting
I am of gorilla proportions, long body, big belly and shoulders, long arms and short legs and prefer basic T shirt cut jerseys but I am defeated at the moment trying to find any reasonable priced technical t shirts. Morvelo ones are nice but tad expensive for my needs.Posted 6 years ago
Anyone know of any technical T shirts in XXL size out there on t’internet?FueledMember
I’ve got a load of these:
They do cheap jerseys too if you want a proper cycling cut. Have found the quality to be great.Posted 6 years ago

As for budget I only want to spend in the region of £10-£15 as I only have another 61 working days to commute before retiring.
Currently using a Lowe Alpine jersey and find merino to warm now and dont want to wash my MTB kit to death.
Trekster, I bought the Muddy Fox waterproofs from them, bloody great value for the money (£7.50!!)but I dislike zippy necks hence the T shirt style. Looking like it may be one of those as opposed to the Decathlon ones which are way too tight round the neck. the running ones look okay from Decathlon so may go try one on and see how they feel.Posted 6 years agosputnikMember
Bought a Berghaus tech t shirt from Millets something like 4 years ago and still use it on and off the bike. Fantastic value considering the use I get out of it. Paid £30 .
Ps : no need to stop using the t shirt when you are retired !
£22.99 on their website and available in XXLPosted 6 years agoneninjaMember
A friend of a friend runs Marshall Leisure – they always have loads of super cheap tech T’s.Posted 6 years ago
Thanks for all the replies, I ventured into decathlon as i was shopping at the Ricoh arena just to see if there was anything in there that wasnt on their website and there was….picked up a XXL cycling specific jersey with short zip and low neck so no chins in zips issues and plenty long enough in the body for £9.99.Posted 6 years ago
Result and I can still get good use once I am retired…..
