Have a red and white cabbage left over from Chrimbo. Any interesting ideas? Other than coleslaw or soup..

I fry bacon bits and then chuck in chopped up cabbage – I love it.

And pickled red cabbage is one of the best things on earth

Sliced thinly and stir-fried with garlic and rosemary (and bacon. Mmm, bacon.). That works with savoy cabbage, anyway.

yum it down and then parp so loudly and regularly that the girlfriend actually resorts to physical violence.

this is especially amusing in bed if you giggle after every trump.

druidh- carraway seeds work better with cabbage, and they seem to stifle the windy after-affects too…

    yeah no stifling please.

So far, I fancy the pickling idea, with caraway for the teutonic taste sensation

You could compost it. Probably the best use for a fortnight old cabbage

Ummm….press it into little squares and sell it as ‘organic’ disc brake pads?

It would probably last longer than some brands I could mention….

watched a TV show a while back about hangover cures and the thing that came out tops was boiled cabbage water. Never had the will to try it as I am not to fond of the stuff. 😕
