Do I really need a riser bar with 140mm suspension up front. Or would the front end feel a bit low and naff? Its probably only an inch difference on a low riser isn’t it?

Just thinking a flat bar would be more versatile if I ended up swapping to a 29er?

Yes I run one on my 140mm and 160mm full sus I prefer the look!

Yes, flat for me on a 160mm front end. Seems to work well for shorter riders, particularly on 29ers. You can buy a negative rise bar somewhere too.

Yeah I thought it was the done thing on 29ers especially to keep the front end low, but the last time I had a flat bar on my 26″ wheeled mtb was about 15 years ago.
