I just really want this jersey!

Are there any willing RCC members out there who could buy one for me - I will happily pay of course and make a donation to their favoured charity in return.

Thanks!

Go on then, I'll bite 🙂

You want to wear the jersey of a made-up cycling club that you're not really a member of?

Good troll 🙂

Eewww, dude! It'd be like wearing a regimental tie just because you liked the colours!

[bite] Join a real club 😉 [/bite]

I'm enjoying wearing their Core Festive 500 jersey, but the back is rather short, and I don't know who ever tried to remove food from the back pocket wearing a pair of gloves. Clearly they must have been tested in Tenerife with fingerless mitts, not freezing Surrey with thick Gore Winter gloves!

crazy legs is a member.

Fair enough that is a nice jersey. Was thinking, why not just join, then you can buy it, but £135 per year! Jebus!

There were objections when our club went from an annual subscription of £15 to £20!

I like it too, but I wouldn't wear it as I'm not a member of RCC, the pseudo cycling club. You didn't like it enough to ask someone to buy it for you when it was £110. Cheapskate 🙂

They might not have your size anyway.

Probably have to pay around face value though...If your name's not down, you're not coming in!

Are you sure you wanna let yourself in for the level of scorn you'd get riding in it? (judging by this thread anyway)

It is, hence the smiley, but as per their kit, it's about three times the price of membership of more traditional clubs. I'll be racing a couple of them tomorrow.

I like their bibs and will buy a second pair of 3/4's.

What makes you think it's not a real club?

Because it exhibits very few of the characteristics of a real cycling club.

Real cycling clubs tend to be composed of people that know each other, ride together and have something that brings them together, usually location. They also work as a support network, a training group, and most importantly they often bring new people into the sport, including kids, and educate them in the world of cycling.

Rapha RCC is just another way for Rapha to fleece people of their excessive salaries.

I own some Rapha stuff, mainly accessories- I'm not just a Rapha hater.
