all seems a bit odd–

Odd indeed! I must admit he came across as a regular forumite to me.

It wouldn’t seem so oddif it was all about a few grand..

Can the old-bill do anything or does it have to be 3 years or sommat daft for them to consider it fraud/theft?

i still can’t see it as a straight scam–just don’t stack up– the guy could be having some problems– money/mental– appreciate that if your out of pocket its a pisser, but surely there has to be more to it ?

The issue a few days ago was that Tony was offline for a week, he came online very briefly to tell us that (it was about that time that one or two on here reckoned he was top bloke and us three were witch hunting jerks and idiots ( ok, jerks and idiots was just me :)). Hopefully nothing too serious has happened to him but I would gladly sit down with him and talk through his woes, only cost him £30!

I assume we still have no resolution on this issue then

i dont get it why folk return to defend themselves …it is not as if the lie* wont out in the end

* Who knows what the reaosn is but folk have paid him and not got their stuff despite his promsies/assurances

Some have got stuff, some haven’t so it’s not as if he is a scammer is it really.

The underlined word “Member” says it’ll take you to the profile page but doesn’t. It takes you to Forum Activity.

It’s having a website in your profile that makes you underlined.

I’ve got an email in my profile and no line…

I used to have my underlined username setup so it was a link to my website. Got a decent number of hits from here too. Then they did away with the ability to do that, but there’s obviously a connection with the underlining and having a website in your portfolio.
