Interesting to see the Doldrums region at the Equator in both the Atlantic and Pacific, and the highly complicated wind systems around Antarctica.

Rubbish! Those two lows in the north Atlantic didn’t move at all; normally they would be belting across towards Russia.

I did these two screen grabs last night, of the North Atlantic, as close as I could get them, one from the earth.nullschool site, the other from Meteogroup’s Meteoearth app, which gives wind, precipitation, cloud, etc. it shows that both are displaying pretty much the same information at the same time. So yeah, I’d say it’s pretty accurate.
