  • Alex Volar 3.0 rims – any experience?

    I’ve seen these rims on a relatively cheap wheel and was wondering if anyone has used them?

    They’re only £80 on eBay for a boost 29er front wheel which is exactly what I’m after!

    I’m not bothered about weight just durability.

    I have volar 2.5’s and they have proven very,very good. Go up tubeless very easy too.

    I have a set of their Supra 35 rims and by in large I like them.

    Rode a week of DH in the Alps this summer with an Alex Volar 2.5 on the back of my DH bike tubeless.
    it was faultless

    If the Ebay wheel is a chosen hub they’re decent too.
