The phone box is actually in Pennan – on the Moray Coast and nowhere near the beach. I’ve been planning a ride from one to t’other, it’s 315km.

@ElShalimo – yep. The beach in my photo is “Bens Beach” at Camusdarach, by Morar. The “village” shots were all filmed at Pennan and the village hall (the dance scenes) at Onich and the misty loch early on was Loch Tarff above Fort Augustus. I’ve photos of that last one but I reckoned that was too obscure.

That sounds like a great ride between the two locations

I used to know where that LoG shop was, I found it on a bike ride once.

Technically this isn’t from the actual film but it’s pretty closely related so I reckon it’ll get guessed easily.

Took this last year but rode past it on my ride earlier which made me think of it.
