  • 40mm (ish) riser, 35mm diam – what’s available?

I currently have a 20mm rise bar and would like to try a higher position but the stem is at the limit on the steerer with 25mm of spacers under so am looking for a higher rise bar that will allow a bit of experimentation and a bit less spacer.

Criteria: 760 min width, 35mm clamp 35-40mm rise, alloy, moderate sweep about 9-10 degrees not much more than £60. SO far I’ve found:

    Renthal Fatbar
    RaceFace Turbine R
    Burgtec Ridewide (30 rise)

anything else I’ve missed that isn’t astronomically expensive?
    Thanks internet

I know this is frowned on but I think i could sell you a Chromag BZA Carbon (35mm rise IIRC) or Renthal (40mm Rise)….

Renthal, at 760mm you can get the Fatbar Lite. I have just done the same, moved to a 40mm rise Renthal from a lower rise, not ridden it yet but looking forward to it!

Burgtec, josh bryceland special edition bars, 38mm rise.
I was thinking similar and went for some renthal v2 40mm rise @ £52 from Tweeks however they were 31.8mm diameter.

Yes, the Fatbar Lite is the one for that width. Really nice bar!

Cheers,. Yes the fatbar seems the best choice, surprising there’s so little above the 20mm rise mark
