in terms of tyre fitting

I've a cx frame that I fancy actually riding off road a bit but also I'd like the option of using the wheels for 29ing if I ever give that a go

summit like a stans arch - would that do cx and 29 tyres ? (too wide for a fattish road tyre too ?)

(the cx frame will take a 135 hub so that's what I'd go for)

Have bonty 29er and xt 29er wheelsets which I use on my cross bike. Both fitted with tubeless cross tyres. I use discs on my cross bike and they work fine. A v brake compantable wheelset would work fine with cantis on a cross bike. Serious cross racers tend to use road race wheels (ksyriums are common, and even zipps) these will be lighter than most 29er wheels.
