That’s right, the next round of our 2011 race series is set to take place a week today (July 24th) up on the tough but rewarding trails in Lee Quarry. Round 1 was brilliant; after early morning horizontal rainfall got the organisers and people assisting with course setup quite worried, it all cleared up in time for a great morning’s racing for the largest rider field we’ve had so far since doing these races (138 riders!), and we’re hoping for more of the same next week.

There’s still time to enter online via our website http://www.brownbacksracing.co.uk or if you like, you can just turn up at the sign-on tent from 8.30am to enter.

Also, We’d be grateful for any offers of help on the marshalling side of things too so if you want to check out what we’re about, don’t mind volunteering your Sunday morning away and also maybe feel like grabbing £50 in the marshal prize draw (as well as getting a Buff sponsored marshal goodie bag!), then please drop us a line on info@brownbacksracing.co.uk or head on over to our website http://www.brownbacksracing.co.uk and contact via the form on there.
We can’t run the races without the generosity of those that give up a morning every month or so to help out with this and we and all the riders that enter our races are massively appreciative of this!
