Quick question regarding 1X11 chain length sizing (Shimano). I've just fitted a new M8000 groupset on my full sus but just wanted to check that the chain isn't too short / long.
Derailleur looks like this in the largest (42t) chainring with suspension uncompressed;

Mech is a medium cage and I used the standard big cog / chainring without threading through the derailleur, suspension fully compressed + 2 links + 2 extra links for piece of mind.
Does everything look ok? I've seen some pics online where the derallieur is pulled more towards the chainring so wondering I need to remove a few links.
Here's a pic of my rear mech, chain put round single chainring and largest sprocket, I added 2 links. Works faultless.
