Looking at a week in yorkshire with the wife and two smallish children(4/5) during the summer holidays.
Can somebody point me towards an area that has riding for me, swimming pool for the kids, preferably with a slide, and some days out with the family?
Looking at renting a cottage somewhere not too close to the usual honey pots where theres lots of tourist's dawdling down the streets at a snails pace getting in the way of all and sundry.

somewhere in the NYM, 30 mins to the coast, whitby, scarborough, filey.
some nice villages/towns nearby, pickering, malton, helmsley.
