A few years ago I setup my son on his kindle fire with a gamertag id using my Hotmail account (xboxlive server) so he could play Minecraft online with his friends. I've now bought a xbox one and want to set it up properly with accounts for me and separate accounts for the kids.
Can I transfer my gamerid from my email to a new email I have setup for my son, so all his progress and friends remain intact?

Thanks, but I’m not looking to change the billing details etc, I just want to transfer his gamer tag to his own email so he doesn’t lose his friends etc.
You just change the email in the Contact details.

I want to keep my old email and set that account up for myself with a new gamertag, but transfer my sons gamertag with his associated friends and game progress to a new email I have created for him, linked to the family account.
