Looking for maybe a Lenovo T420 or the like and wondering if you have any views on the good and bad retailers.

The T420 is a few years old (it's what I'm typing on right now). There's been a T430, T440 and T450 since.

I ordered from Tier1online.com (via ebay) and found them superb.
I bought an X1 "grade B" and apart from one tiny nick on the cover, it's mint!
(they were really helpful on the phone too).

Had a few desktops & a laptop from tier1online.
They are my default if we need a new PC at home.
