I blame his (lack of ) brain
My thoughts would be that England need 10 wickets not to slow the rate at the death.
Run rate creeping up but wickets in the trap . Could be explosive and heartbreaking , but I'm going with slow Windies death
At 230am I'm hoping for some fast wickets...
I think windies will get this
I claim Bravos wicket ๐ 8)
Haha!
Tense. Really tense.
Rachel
That helps a bit
Still go with the windies
COME ON!
I'm getting good at this ๐
Oh dear God !
I need a drink
Wwhoop
I love the man who posted the cricvid link. I'm currently sat in my hot tub with a beer watching the laptop on the wall. Cmon England!
Samuels looking really solid ๐
un-be-leivable
oh
Well that's the way to win it
Oh Stokes ๐
Last over, 19 needed, you'd bowl all balls at the off stump, why did they all go down leg?
Explosive and heartbreaking it was. Jesus man what a match.
Wow!
And not half-volleys. Naive I'm afraid.
I love England fans, attacking our players straight away. That was outstanding batting . Stokes is human and nerves and sweat got the better of him. Well played England we'll be back!
*apologies if not England fans
I am an England fan. Stokes was never the man for the last over - even though he wanted to. Semi final - 3 full toss wickets. Willey should have been the man.
You could tell that as soon as the first one went that Stokes was going to fall apart. Pressure must have been horrendous.

Ok so it's Morgan's fault then sorted ๐
That was an emotional roller coaster! Glued to TMS, I feel exhausted after all of that!
Well done the Windies, kept their nerve (just) and probably deserved tournament winners x 3
great game, great ending not a great result
Sammy interview - understandable. Marlon Samuels comes across a bit of a tit.
Willey should have been the man.
Out of overs, had to find an over from somewhere - great hitting lead to individual pressure which is what makes the great game of cricket.
That is the ball of the tournament for me. Samuels, the dangerman, can't get on the strike because of Jordan.
as it happened turned out to be the worst ball of the tournament Mr Agnew ๐ shortly followed by
You have to say England are in the strongest position that they have been in during the whole match.
well that put the mockers on us Mr Marks !
Well sat bleary eyed here at work this morning after yet another late night sporting defeat (I've given up on the Newcastle commentaries)
But reflecting what a game, what an advert for the game what a great kick in the balls for it's detractors!
It had everything, the momentum swings were huge, the highs and lows extreme the 18 run over from the WI followed by a big wicket.
Looking at the scores and England's bowling the biggest let down was the wides (6 to the WI's 1) lifted a bit of pressure as they went. The dropped catch was a big one too and would have changed the match I reckon.
Anyway for a team that was at such a low 12 months ago in the 50 over game it's a great turn around and those players as much as it won't seem like it achieved a hell of a lot to get to 2nd. Hopefully they can build on that.
I'm just really happy with the whole tournament (both women's and men's). It's the first time that I've actually sat down and watched cricket over a long period of time and T20 is a great way to spend an afternoon. I'll admit that part of that enjoyment is the immediacy of the game compared to a test match, but it does make cricket more accessible.
it actually makes me want to watch more of it. That's a rare thing these days.
