I bought an A80 Powershot off here yonks ago. Ok so it's not the greatest camera in the world but it's done endless miles stuffed in a Camelbak getting cold, wet, sweaty etc
Annnnnnnyway, it developed 'a flicker'. A quick email to Canon and they advised me of a known CCD imager fault and suggested I bang it off to the nearest repair centre (£2.24 in postage). Less than a week later it's back and better than ever.

Shame they can't do anything about my wife losing mine, it was a brilliant camera, she took it to church and it got stolen!
