I have sky fibre broadband and got a free wifi booster. Connection speed up stairs is poor and whilst this does improve the connection to the router is appears to slow the connection speed down by a massive amount. Also seems to screw up the connection to the wireless printer.
Anyone experienced similar issues and found a solution? Thanks.
I've got one, I use it to boost the signal at the back of the house and into the garden for occasional use. Works well enough, but can be a little fussy if there is too much stuff between it and the main router.
They're not particularly powerful, but useful to fill in a few dead spots.
If its in a location thats going to be used more regularly, or in a place where you need reliability then I'd suggest getting something with a bit more oomph.
