Hi.
Got a small spider crack in my windscreen. Any ideas how much itll cost to get it professionally repaired?
Not fully comp so will have to pay.
Had previously tried a DIY one but was rubbish.

Probably about 60 quid
Over the winter I had a small crack appear from a stone hitting when driving to work. As the day heated up it grew right across my windscreen.
My insurance company includes free windscreen repair/replacment. This now looked like a replacement job.
Unfortunatley i had to pay an excess of £75 which stung!
The man came and did it, saying almost no one pays for private jobs now, it's all via insurance companies. He said my passat windscreen would have cost hundreds. Gulp!
You might find your insurance company includes reapairs/replaacement cover, so dig out your policy!

Try budget windscreens. I was quoted £100 for mk 3 golf windscreen fitted. Not sure what they charge for a repair.

they charge a fortune cos the insurance companies dont care, find a small independant and they are much cheaper
local guy by me does them for about 80 quid . autoglass wanted 270.
