The stage show was brilliant because of the puppetry, and despite the daft story, the film didn't even have that.

The riding around Ditsworthy Warren house on Dartmoor where the Devon scenes are filmed is pretty good too (when it’s dry)

I’ve seen the stage show & it didn’t make me bawl (natch)like that.
Ps I knew some would pull me up on the bawled /balled thing, I need a better (more English) spell checker 🤷‍♂️

Yep.
I have no interest in watch films.
Mrs stu was watching it while I was pissing about with something else and proper got sucked in to it and also cried like a small child when a rabbit in a film dies...
