Roast parsnips. OK so I have them in a roast every Sunday, not just at Christmas, but they are the greatest vegetable known to man.

For me it's my wife's stuffing balls - bread, onions, garlic, sage etc with sausagemeat & black pudding!

Awesome later on as well at the cold pickings stage ;o)

Christmas pudding that's been cooked in the chest cavity of the turkey - it's been a family tradition for as long as I can remember and I always think it's not a proper christmas dinner unless there's a bit of fruit pudding with my turkey.

Home-made cranberry sauce. I could eat it all year and it just makes the whole meal! Tart but sweet at the same time with a bit of background heat from the spices... I'm off to make a sarnie with it now ๐Ÿ˜€

Mmm, leftover pigs in blankets for breakfast ๐Ÿ™‚

Proper Bread Sauce

I've never had bread sauce despite it apparently being "an important part of a traditional British Christmas lunch". Am I missing out? Do you have it instead of gravy?

Big lumps of meat in a vegetarian household - freaks. I'm on the bring-yer-own meat deal with the in-laws.
